Security tape

When accessing the package and tearing off the security tape, a previously invisible residue appears on the package. Additionally, the appearance of the tape changes, making manipulations immediately noticeable. Both properties guarantee the security and assurance that the sealed package or packaging has not been tampered with. Untouched security tape serves as evidence that the package, and thus the contents, arrive at the recipient in their original condition without any attempt of unauthorized access during transport. Tampering attempts are deterred and immediately recognizable. The self-adhesive seal tape can be applied like regular packaging tape, making it easy to use. It can be used manually or with a standard tape dispenser, requiring little to no instruction upon introduction. Unlike security labels, seal tapes are not perforated, and their length can be easily and individually adjusted to the specific requirements of the carton or package. Security packing tape serves the same purpose as regular packing tape and adds additional security features.

Variants of seal packing tape:

Security tape with warning message

Two variants of seal tape can be distinguished based on whether there is a visible warning imprint or not. The imprint "Security Tape" acts as a deterrent and prevents tampering attempts in advance. If someone tries to remove the seal tape, an previously invisible text immediately becomes visible, such as "OPENED VOID." Even if it is pressed back down, the warning message remains, indicating not only that a tampering attempt has occurred but also showing where exactly the attempt took place.

Security tape without warning message

As a second variant, seal packing tape is also available without any imprint. Externally, it cannot be distinguished from regular packing tape. Only when
attempting to remove the seal tape does the residue text become visible, which cannot be removed without damaging the packaging. This allows a shipment to
be secured against tampering or unauthorized opening without clearly indicating these additional security measures.

Personalized security tape

It is possible to create personalized seal tape according to individual preferences starting from approximately 200 rolls. Text, logo, color, and the
residue text can be customized. Personalized seal tape not only serves the function of regular packaging tape but also ensures quality assurance and can
be used for brand recognition by incorporating a company name or logo.
